Sales Engineer - Slough - £dependent on experience plus commission plus car allowance plus benefits Sales Engineer required by our client, a leading designer and manufacturer of innovative PC hardware and software in the field of high performance display devices across multiple niche markets. Markets include; corporate & enterprise, video and audio production, geographic information systems, CAD, simulation, public information display, Air Traffic Control, Medical Imaging and others. Your ole will be to: Evaluate customer requirements and propose appropriate solutions from the our clients product range. Evaluate requests for ?custom? software or hardware solutions and prepare business cases for such requests. Arrange and attend meetings with prospective and existing customers in UK, Eire and Benelux. Represent our client at tradeshows and other business events. Conduct product demonstrations and presentations as appropriate with a view of securing business for our client. Provide technical sales training to customers. Must have: A bachelor?s degree in Electronics or Computer Engineering. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a technical sales role. An excellent command of written and spoken English; good communications skills. The ideal candidate will have: Ability to speak French. A good working knowledge of modern Operating Systems, particularly Microsoft Windows. Familiarity with modern PC architecture and graphics hardware.Some knowledge of Linux. However these are desirable and NOT essential. This is a varied and exciting technical sales role representing a well-known and reputed brand. It requires an enthusiastic, flexible and self-driven individual to work alongside the UK sales team to support and develop new and existing accounts in UK, Eire, Benelux, Middle East and South Africa.
